Get All Your Movies and TV Shows Sitting in PC’S, On Ipad and Tablet

Here is the way to get media library from your PC to your tablet/Ipad without actually transferring the files. At least not anymore.

If you have a meticulously arranged collection of movies and TV shows sitting on multiple hard drives, connected to the PC. The question now arises as how to get all of them on your tablet without transferring that whole huge amount of data actually…..So here is solution for Android  and iPad…..

The Plex application bundle……Plex is a media centre application that will aggregate the media in the folder you point it towards.

SETUP PLEX
Plex has two components

SERVER  APP: need to be install on the pc containing all the media that you wish to share on the portable devices.
Once you have installed the app on PC you’ll need to point the server to the folder which contains the media files. The app is capable of updating the change in the content of the folder.
This application is free to download for Windows, Mac and Linux operating system.

CLIENT APP : it is need to be install on your tablets and iPad and can be download from apple and android markets. Even you can get in on windows phone also.

This app is basically meant to access the library and view content, and within that, you get the decent amount of tweaks and settings for pictures and sound quality.

Plex media server can send media to devices running plex client. Both machine need to be connected to the same network. Once you have the server app up and running on the same network, open the client on and device and within few second the library being broadcast by the server will appear on the device.

We have tested the app on both iOS and Android and it is very good. It was able to stream a 1080p video file over wireless network without any stutters...So give it a try,...make it use full

Enable tracking protection on Internet explorer

Many website use different techniques to track your surfing behavior…what sites we view and what are your interests….and use the data to target advertisements on social networking sites. By this trick you can protects your privacy by employing various blacklists of sites and advertisers

For this trick open the “Tools” menu and select “tracking protection”. The following dialogue will show the installed blacklist, if any. However if there aren’t any, you can install some by clicking on the option: “Get a Tracking Protection List online”.
A list will open and we will recommend you to install “EasyList Privacy”. After installing enable the software and hence we are done.

You may face problems with some website……some part of the site may to be shown and you’ll see a small blue icon depicting a lock….this is because this content is being block by your software. In your to see any such part of such website simply right click on that blue box and choose “Deactivate tracking protection”……..

There might be some page specific changes are there as tracking is very comprehensive filter system……

Stream audio to your android via Wi-Fi

Imagine you've install a great home theatre with a large HD display and you want to watch a movie at night without disturbings others you will have to use headphones with long wire... And what if you have a friend..... you will need a pair of earphones with a hardware that can split a single output so to use more than one earphone.

What if you could do all this for free with your android phone???....

All you need is a PC, SEVER SOFTWARE, AND AN ANDROID APP CALLED SOUNDWIRE

SoundWire is a simple app which routes all audio from your PC to android device via local wireless network.

Now we comes to how to setup all this:
First you have to setup a server which is very simple.

#Go http://georgielabs.net from your PC and download the server based on your operating system (window, linux, apple or any other) and install it.

# Open the application it will look as shown below
Server window will show your IP address, the status and number of devices connected.
If you are using any DVD player or external media player you can choose from the list else it can be left as "Default Multimedia Device".

# Now on your phone simple to go the play store and install SoundWire ( the only difference between the paid and free version is that the former allows multiple users to connect to the same server at the same time)

# Once the app is installed all you have to do is enter the IP address of the server (pc) and hit the large SOUNDWIRE icon.

You might get issues with audio delay and the audio and video might not be in sync...... To resolve that we suggest to set the audio bit rate to low number.......

Enjoy make it usefull..!!

Windows 8 Picture Gesture Password

Windows 8 has come up with a new innovative idea for security in pc's. You can use image as passwords.
Recorded gestures on image like say point, circle, or any drawing can be used for unlocking your systems. The advantage here is that these gesture passwords are more secure and seems quit fun. They also work on PCs where you can make these gestures with the mouse.

How To Set Up Image Password In Windows 8:

# Open Charms Bar [Win]+[C].

# Go to Settings>PC settings> User.

# Create a Windows password over there and then click on "Generate image code".

# Now follow the set-up wizard.

#We advise not to use simple gestures. These are more as they record both position and direction data.

BE SMART GET SMARTER SECURITY MEASURES!!...

Lets You Experience Android From The Computer

Lets You Experience Android From The Computer

If you’ve never used BlueStacks before, it’s a way to bring the Android platform to you right from your desktop or laptop. It works with both Windows and Mac, too

While BlueStacks doesn’t emulate the entire Android experience, it’s easily the best and smoothest solution to running Android apps from your computer. The most awesome feature of the BlueStacks software is cloud connectivity. This means you can actually sync your Android phone with BlueStacks to immediately carry over apps, updates, photos, text messages, and more.

This feature opens up a lot of things that you and I could get into. Work at your PC but not interested in always checking your phone for text messages? Text from your desktop. It’s faster.
BlueStacks is extremely sleek and easy to learn to use. The MY APPS page is the equivalent of a home screen. It looks like this:

Everything is as simple as pointing and clicking. Mouse gestures like clicking and dragging down or swiping are fluid in emulating finger gestures on your touchscreen. BlueStacks’ settings menu will also allow you to customize certain options that aren’t as comfortable when translating from a touchscreen phone to your desktop:

And who could forget about Android games? When I first heard about this Android app emulator, that was my immediate reaction. Along with that, I had to assume that games would skip, lag, and respond terribly. That isn’t the case at all. Everything is incredibly smooth
I had originally checked out BlueStacks just to get a feel for Android. I’m an iOS guy and I’ve actually never played with the Android platform. What I got out of this software is a whole new realm of games and neat software that I’ll eventually even be able to sync to a device if I do choose to pick up an Android phone. Awesome stuff......just make it usefull..!!
